What Hoglet is
Hoglet (hoglet.games) is a free educational website teaching children about money, risk and saving through short games. Pretend money only: no gambling, no real trading, no purchases, no downloads, no chat, and pupils never enter real names or emails. Suggested web filter category: Education.
Addresses to allow
Everything runs over HTTPS (port 443) in an ordinary web browser.
| Address | What it's for | Needed? |
|---|---|---|
| hoglet.games | The website and games | Yes |
| tttftvqzksberxncqpwi.supabase.co | Weekly leaderboards and the feedback form (our database, hosted in London) | Yes, for leaderboards |
| challenges.cloudflare.com | Cloudflare Turnstile human check when a pupil joins a leaderboard | Yes, for leaderboards |
| static.cloudflareinsights.com | Cookie-free visit counts | Optional |
The games themselves play without the database. If only hoglet.games is allowed, pupils can play, but they can't join leaderboards.
Good to know
- A whole class on one connection is fine. The leaderboard sign-up is set up for many pupils joining from the same school internet address.
- Devices: any up-to-date browser on Chromebooks, iPads, Windows, Mac, Android or iPhone. Nothing to install. It can be added to the home screen like an app.
- Sound is optional and can be muted in each game.
- Data: no cookies for tracking, no adverts in school use, no profiling. Full details in our privacy notice.
- New domain: hoglet.games was registered in October 2026, so some filters may block it as "newly registered" for a few weeks.
